Responsibilities

This position is for Pactiv Evergreen.

As an Enterprise Architect, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing enterprise-level solutions that align with our business objectives and technology strategy. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders across various departments to understand their needs and translate them into scalable and secure architectural designs and lead a team of security focused architect’s. You will be responsible for evaluating emerging technologies, assessing their potential impact on our architecture, and making recommendations for adoption.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive architecture blueprints that depict the current state, future state, and transition plans for our IT landscape.

  • Partner with business leaders and IT teams to define strategic objectives and requirements, ensuring alignment between business goals and technology solutions.

  • Lead architecture reviews and provide guidance on design decisions to ensure adherence to architectural principles, standards, and best practices.

  • Evaluate the security posture of existing systems and propose enhancements to mitigate risks and vulnerabilities.

  • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in cybersecurity and incorporate them into our architecture and security strategies.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement security controls, protocols, and measures to safeguard our data, systems, and networks.

  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to optimize processes, streamline operations, and enhance the overall effectiveness of our architecture.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an Enterprise Architect or a similar role, with a strong background in designing and implementing complex IT solutions.

  • In-depth knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks and methodologies.

  • Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles, standards, and practices, with a keen interest in expanding expertise in this domain.

  • Familiarity with security architecture design, risk assessment, and compliance requirements.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strategic mindset and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing architectural challenges.
