Pre Make Ready Worker - HIRING IMMEDIATELY - St. Charles, IL

$3,500 Sign-on Bonus

Pre Make Ready Worker available shifts: 7PM- 7AM

Compensation:

  • Starting starting at $18.64

  • $3,500 Sign-on Bonus (Days)

SUMMARY: Directly charged with all phases of set-up, make ready and maintenance of cylinders and all related parts and housekeeping of related areas.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prepares cylinders, dies and ink for jobs on printing press.

  • Prepares cylinders for shipment to engravers.

  • Washes all parts from printing press.

  • Completes various paperwork.

  • May need to offbearer on press at times

  • Performs other related duties to contribute to the success of the operation as assigned by supervision.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • Must be able to speak, read & write in English.

  • Must have forklift truck driver’s license.

  • General knowledge of how to use basic hand tools.

MECHANICAL SKILLS:

  • Must have operating knowledge of Press machines.

  • Must be able drive forklift truck.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS:

  • Able to communicate effectively, get along with coworkers and management, and deal effectively and professionally under pressure. Able to read, write, speak and understand English in order to receive and understand instruction. Must have legible handwriting.

REASONING ABILITIY:

  • Required to exercise normal safety precautions.

  • Adjust work schedule to meets customer needs. Must be able to handle schedule changes with short notice.
